St. Petersburg College athletics has a long-standing tradition of developing great student athletes. Coaches and players never lose sight of the fact that SPC athletes are here as students first and athletes second.
SPC has six collegiate sports (tennis, softball, volleyball, basketball, and baseball); four women’s teams and two men’s teams. Over the years, each team has competed and won at a very high level.
Year-in and year-out, our teams have won conference championships, along with a state championship in baseball in 2005 and in men’s basketball in 2002. To compete at such a high level, our coaches have dedicated their lives in pursuit of players who will represent this institution well on and off the field.
