The 2012 All Suncoast Men’s basketball selections for the year have been announced. Antonio Valiente was named player of the year, first team All State and All Conference. The SPC women’s basketball team has finished second in the Southern Conference and will play in the NJCAA Region VIII/FCSAA Tournament. The team finished with a 24-5 overall record and a 7-3 record in the Southern Conference.

On Feb. 18, St. Petersburg College’s men’s basketball team played Hillsborough Community College at home. This time they trounced HCC by 29 pts! The final score for the game was SPC – 93, HCC – 64.
